North Carolina Business Council invites you to our 6th Annual Business Sustainability Awards Luncheon at the Transfer Co. Food Hall, Downtown Raleigh.
Join us in-person as we celebrate business leaders who are paving the way to Transforming How We Do Business For Good! You will hear innovative entrepreneurs tell how their sustainable and triple bottom line business practices have propelled them to success while enhancing our communities and protecting our environment.
This year's keynote address will come from William Barber, III.
William J. Barber III is the Chief Executive Officer & Founder of Rural Beacon Initiative (RBI), a North Carolina-based social enterprise, committed to advancing business sustainability and environmental justice. Through private and public strategic convening, and deploying models for scalable community-based solutions, RBI helps businesses address the triple bottom line with equitable solutions. William has completed work with several environmental advocacy groups, including the UNC Law Center for Climate, Energy, Environment, and Economics; Clean Water for North Carolina; Clean Energy Works, and the Coalition for Green Capital.
In addition, during the luncheon, NCBC will share national trends describing the State of Impact Investing in small companies and local communities.
